Who Can Join?
Membership is open to civilians who are or will be eligible to receive an annuity or survivor annuity from the federal retirement programs of any agency of the United States government, and the District of Columbia*, including: Retirees; Current Federal Employees; Spouses and surviving spouses of those eligible to join NARFE; Former federal employees; A former spouse who is legally entitled to a federal survivor annuity.

Local Chapter Close-to-Home Membership. Affiliation with the NARFE chapter closest to your home. Receive Narfe magazine each month; attend meetings, often with invited speakers; network; and get involved in grass-roots lobbying efforts. First year Membership Fee (includes National and Chapter Dues) for CURRENT ACTIVE EMPLOYEES and RETIREES $48.00.
