Our Mission
Founded in 1967, NARFE Chapter 1015 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina — known locally as Meunier-Perry — brings together active and retired federal employees, their spouses, and survivors to safeguard their financial security and quality of life. NARFE’s goals include: backing legislation that protects member benefits and general welfare on matters such as health coverage and retirement; keeping members informed on legislative topics, especially retirement income, health care benefits, taxation, and COLAs; building the political influence of today’s and tomorrow’s federal retirees through NARFE-PAC, a political action committee; partnering with other organizations that share similar legislative aims; working alongside the Office of Personnel Management to address retirement benefit questions; promoting public recognition and appreciation of government service; and contributing to the well-being of local communities.
Upcoming Meetings
Join us on February 12, 2026, March 12, 2026, and April 9, 2026 at Damon's Bar and Grill. February’s guest speaker is Amy Flora of the Horry County Council on Aging. In March, we welcome Leona (Lee) Brown, Socastee Branch Librarian. April’s guest speaker is financial advisor Mandy Hilton.
